Jesus, how long has it even been since Jim has gussied up for an honest to gods date?

There'd been a couple of times back at the academy, but even those had ended up in mostly one-week stands.

He's dressed fairly light for the weather, a simple t-shirt with skinny jeans and his boots, paired with a stupidly bright scarf that he likes mostly because it pairs well with his eyes. He's allowed to be a little vain on a date, he thinks.

When he walks up to see Jester he's wearing a big grin on his face. She looks amazing.

"Lookin' mighty fine there, Jester," he grins, leaning in to give her a quick kiss on the cheek.

Jester lights up when she sees Jim, taking in how he's dressed and admiring the way the color of his scarf makes his eyes sparkle. Oof, he's so handsome...she feels nervous, still, worried that she might not measure up to this other Jester he knew...but she feels a bit better when he leans down to kiss her on the cheek.

"Oh! Hi," she breathes. "You're—you look, like, really hot." Her cheeks are definitely flushed, now, her tongue betraying her so easily she hardly notices it. "I mean, thank you."

I did that thing where i opened the thing and then closed the whole pc down so i lost the thing

"I could say the same to you," he grins, giving her a very deliberate look up and down and a wink, then laughing softly to lighten

"You're welcome, Jes," he grins, his palm running down her arm to catch her hand, linking their fingers together.

"So, ready to discover the magical world of Arcades?" He asks, wiggling his eyebrows and sweeping his arm out to the attraction's door.
